Founded in 2009 on the beach of Paredes da Vitória - Pataias, the Paredes Surf - Store & Camp Surf School transmits as main goal the teaching of surfing, its true essence, the benefits of surfing, and respect for nature and the ocean. David Mota, founder, administrator and instructor decided to start this project due to his strong connection to surf and the sea from a very young age, having started surfing at the age of 10.
In 2009 with only 5 surfboards and 10 surf suits, David founded the Surf School - Paredes Surf School, in 2010, the Paredes Surf Store was open and in 2013, the Paredes Surf Camp was inaugrated with the capacity of receiving 12 people
David Mota has been a surf and bodyboard trainer since 2009 by the Portuguese Surfing Federation, he was also lifeguard and guest coach in several surf events, namely TMN Saca Tour and Adapted Surf. All these years linked to the activity have allowed him to acquire extensive experience like a coach and manager, both from events related to surfing and from Paredes Surf School itself.
"Live a experience for life!"The classes have a duration of approximately 1h30, start with a warm-up and some stretching exercises, then we continue with some theoretical instructions appropriate to the knowledge of each one before entering the water.
Have instructor's full attention for 1h30 min / 2H00. Ideal class for those who want to grow and evolve, always with all attention focused on you, in order to improve your surfing.
Safety is a priority for us, students will never be placed in risky situations, as our instructors are experienced local surfers all certified by the Portuguese surfing federation. All students during class are covered by accident insurance.
